The General Meeting of the APFU was recently held, the main outcome of which was the reporting and election conference.

According to reports, following the results of the vote, Volodymyr Besaga became the new president of the Ukrainian Beach Soccer Association — his candidacy was unanimously supported by the delegates. The organisation’s management team was also formed: the new head of the Association will be assisted by first vice-presidents Taras Samborsky and Oleg Prymachuk, as well as vice-presidents Mykola Kostenko, Volodymyr Lytvyshchenko and Volodymyr Kandyba.

An important change in the management structure was the distribution of powers, which began last year. From now on, the UAF Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee, which was created last year, will officially take on such functions as the supervision of all Ukrainian beach soccer teams and the organisation and holding of Ukrainian championships among men’s and women’s clubs.

As previously reported, the national futsal team has already decided who will represent Ukraine at the 2026 European Championship.
