The First Football League kicked off in Ukraine with some exciting matches. The central game of the round was played between Ingulets and Bukovyna from Chernivtsi.
Vorskla, which left the top division, started the championship with a victory. The Poltava team conceded a goal in the opening minutes, but that did not prevent them from earning three points. At the beginning of the second half, the team equalised and then scored the winning goal, which was scored by the experienced Mykyta Tatarkov. The match ended with a score of 2:1.
The match between Chornomorets from Odesa and Nyva from Ternopil was no less interesting. The fate of the match was effectively decided in the second half. Despite the club’s financial problems, Odessa coach Oleksandr Kucher still managed to create a fairly competitive team led by experienced Yaroslav Rakytskyi, who plays as captain.
Oleksandr Sklyar and Ivan Kogut stood out among the home team. Ternopil managed to reduce the deficit only in stoppage time thanks to the efforts of Dmytro Haladey.
Volochysk’s Agrobiznes also seemed to have decided to compete for first place in the tournament table. Maksym Voitikhovskyi reminded everyone of his scoring abilities and scored twice against Livyi Bereg. Against the capital club, Oleksandr Chyzhevsky’s players used flank passes more often in the opening match, which paid off.
Frankivsk’s Prykarpattia also started the tournament with a victory. Andriy Khoma ended his goal drought and scored twice against Sumy’s Viktoria. The match ended with a score of 2-0.
In Horodenka, where Probi hosted Chernihiv, the opening round came to an end. The hosts took the lead early in the match. Vladislav Felipovich’s historic goal remained the only one in the match.
As a reminder, two English Premier League clubs are competing to sign goalkeeper Andriy Lunin. The media has learned the details.
