The Wacław Ziolkowski Memorial Tournament was held in the Polish capital. Ukrainian freestyle wrestlers won the tournament, the Ukrainian Wrestling Association reports.
Ukrainian athletes won 15 medals in Warsaw. They took first place in the team event.
Ukrainian medals:
- gold – Kamil Kerimov (weight category up to 61 kg);
- silver – Volodymyr Kochanov (up to 125 kg), David Mchedlidze (up to 97 kg), Ivan Chornoguz (up to 92 kg), Vasyl Mykhailov (up to 79 kg), Mykyta Morgun (up to 74 kg), Oleksiy Boruta (up to 70 kg);
- bronze medals – Ivan Prymachenko (up to 97 kg), Denis Bykov (up to 86 kg), Oleksandr Mamrosh (up to 86 kg), Vasyl Shuptar (up to 70 kg), Mykyta Goncharov (up to 65 kg), Andriy Bileychuk (up to 65 kg), Andriy Dzhelep (up to 61 kg), Vladyslav Abramov (up to 57 kg).

As a reminder, a 16-year-old Ukrainian girl won gold at the 2025 FIFA World Cup in rock climbing. Rafael Kazbekova won the gold medal.
