Two Ukrainians become winners of the heaviest division of Euro 2025 in weightlifting – over 109 kg

Two Ukrainians won the heaviest weightlifting division of Euro 2025. We are talking about more than 109 kg.

Bohdan Goza gained 406 kg in the total combined weightlifting and won the bronze medal. Goza also added a small silver in the clean and jerk, while Vladyslav Prylypko won a bronze in the shot put.

This is the first time since 2019 that two Ukrainians have won medals in the same category at the European Weightlifting Championships. Goza’s bronze medal was also Ukraine’s fifth at this year’s championships in Chisinau.

Earlier, Ukrainian women won the team event at the European Championships in freestyle wrestling.
